Serenading Miss Texas
This was my first attempt at writing an easy-listening melody. What made me decide to do it, was this recurring theme that kept popping into my head one Monday morning as I drove my transit bus. All that day the melody persisted. I decided then and there, that I was going to write this melody. I hoped I would not forget it, in that way the melody would not be lossed.
I rushed home that evening and began to work on my musical project. The next day Tuesday was my off day. In the Summer of 2008 I worked four days on and three days off. That was also the very day hurricane Eduardo was raging outside, I composed my 'Serenading Miss Texas'. And as you well know, in 2008, Eduardo was only a precursor of what was really to come.
